Job Description

The East Rochester Athletic Program is recruiting for a Winter and Spring Modified Track Coach. We are searching for a transformational coach who can connect with our student-athletes and support them in developing their skills.

The following opportunities are available:

Modified Indoor Track Modified Outdoor Track Job Qualifications Candidates should: Have strong leadership skills, a positive, education-based approach, Have the ability to teach fundamental skills and team concepts Be able to interact with student-athletes of different ages and skill levels positively and professionally. Demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as staff are considered role models for students. Motivate and mentor student-athletes.

Coaching Requirements:

A valid New York State teaching certificate in Physical Education (K-12) or another teaching area. A Professional Coaching Certificate or eligibility for a Temporary Coaching License. Valid and appropriate First Aid, CPR, and AED certificates for coaches at the time of appointment. Willingness to complete the Identification and Reporting of Child Abuse and SAVE Workshops within the first year of coaching.
