Stow Parks & Recreation Basketball Skills Clinic Instructor (Grades 2-7)

Location:

Stow Lakeview Intermediate School Position Summary The Stow Parks & Recreation Department is seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to serve as a basketball instructor for the youth basketball skills clinic for students in grades 2-7. Instructors play an important role in creating a safe, fun, and positive environment for players while working with them to improve their skills. Instruct youth basketball skills clinic. Ensure player safety. Communicate clearly and respectfully with players and Parks & Recreation staff. Help foster good sportsmanship and positive behavior among players. Report any injuries, incidents, or concerns to league staff. Assist with basic setup and cleanup as needed. Previous experience playing in an organized basketball program. Knowledge of the basic fundamentals of basketball. Ability to demonstrate all basic skills, such as dribbling, shooting, and passing. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Ability to stand, walk, jog, and remain active throughout clinic. Must be at least 15 years of age and a sophomore in High School.
