DEFINITION

OF DUTIES

Coach Boy's Basketball at the high school level.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of basketball skills, experience and ability to effectively perform the duties of an Assistant Coach as stated in the District Coaches Handbook/Coaching Responsibilities; ability to satisfactorily perform all physical requirements of assigned tasks with or without reasonable accommodation; previous successful experience at the high school level or higher; clear direction, goals, and objectives for program success; history of positive influence and interactions with players, coaches, support groups and parents; ability to communicate effectively with parents, administration, players and staff; ability to work with community youth programs; hold or ability to acquire a First Aid/CPR card; hold or ability to acquire

ASEP/NFHS

Coaching Fundamentals, concussion, heat illness and steroid training. Ability to complete other trainings necessary to provide a safe environment for student/athletes (Safeschools) as assigned by the district.
