Whether coaching youth teams or leading fitness classes, you'll be at the forefront of fostering a positive environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, and fun. This paid position is ideal for passionate sports enthusiasts eager to make a meaningful impact while honing their coaching expertise. Duties Design and deliver engaging sports training sessions across various disciplines such as soccer, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, martial arts (including karate and judo), and swimming. Lead sports teams in practices and competitions, ensuring skill development and sportsmanship are prioritized. Provide clear instructions on sports-specific techniques and safety procedures to participants of all ages. Manage behavior and foster a positive team environment through effective behavior management strategies. Conduct safety checks and operate first aid equipment such as AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) during activities. Communicate effectively with clients (participants and parents), providing updates on progress and upcoming events. Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and safety incidents to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Requirements Proven experience working with children in sports or physical education settings. Demonstrated coaching ability in sports such as soccer, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, martial arts (karate or judo), or swimming. Lifeguard experience preferred; certification in swimming rescue techniques is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively instruct participants and engage with parents or guardians. Certification in first aid and CPR required; AED operation training is highly desirable. Experience in sports team leadership or teaching physical education enhances your application. Ability to motivate others while maintaining a safe environment through excellent behavior management skills. Previous experience working in health clubs or gym settings is advantageous.
