Job Description

Job Overview We're looking for a strength training enthusiast who loves coaching and wants a bigger part in running a growing gym. In this role you'll be spending part of your time on the floor with members. The rest goes to the work that keeps the gym running: taking care of members, telling our story, and keeping things organized. Artemis Fitness is a strength training gym located in Fort Mill, SC. We offer primarily small group strength training class, including a women's only program and a kids program. We focus on getting people strong in a way that lasts. Members train 2-4 times a week in structured 6-week strength cycles, with coaching that adjusts to each person's goals, experience, and limitations. Artemis is a small, owner-operated studio, and the community is a big part of why members stay. We know everyone by name, notice when someone misses a week, and celebrate progress of every size, from a first pull-up to a new deadlift PR. What You'll Do 1. Coaching (top priority) After completing the Artemis Fitness coaching training program, you will:
  • Lead small-group strength sessions of up to six people
  • Give each member individual instruction on technique, progressions, and modifications
  • Track and support member progress through each training cycle 2. Member Experience
  • Follow up with new leads and help them book their first session
  • Help new members get started and feel at home
  • Manage member retention process
  • Keep up regular, friendly communication with members 3. Marketing
  • Create and schedule social media content
  • Support email campaigns
  • Help promote programs and events 4. Operations

  • Clear, warm communication, in person and in writing
