We're hiring a coach. $40 an hour. Read this before you apply. Most gym job posts are the same post. "Passionate." "Dynamic." "Fast-paced environment." Then $20 an hour and a schedule that changes weekly. This is not that post. My name is Rob. I own CrossFit West Nashville. We specialize in one-on-one personal training, semi private training, and group classes. I need one more coach. Here is the deal, the job, and the catch. The deal $40 an hour. Not $20. $25. That's the base. Why? Because I want the best coaches in Nashville, and the best coach does not work for $20. I'd rather pay one great coach well than three average coaches badly. We promote from within. Every senior and management role we have was filled by someone who started as a coach. One of them started 18 months ago. There will be more of those roles. You can work towards one. The job Five things that matter to me. 1. Coach the session. This is the whole job. Clear instruction, real coaching, and enough energy that people come back. 2. Track client progress. Wins, problems, logs, nutrition. You are the one who holds the client accountable. When someone drifts, you catch it and you fix it. 3. Run fitness evaluations. Experience helps, but it's not required. 4. Adjust the program. Clients stall. When they do, you change the plan and keep them moving. This requires hard conversations. 5. Teach. Our clients count on us for more than workouts. You'll get education tools and resources. You study them. The catch Hiring here is slow. On purpose. You'll take a few tests. You'll do at least two interviews, probably three. We'll take our time. I'm not hiring for the next six months. I'm hiring someone I can invest in for years, and I want to be sure. I'm also going to ask something of you. Research us before you apply. Know what we do. Know who we serve.
