Work Hours:
Full Time Days (8:00am-5:00pm) for 40 hrs/week (Hybrid work allowed at manager's discretion)
Department Highlights:
Support and develop clinical team members across THPG through education, coaching, and competency validation. Collaborate with leaders to improve clinical workflows, employee development, and practice standardization. Participate in innovative onboarding, workforce development, and MA Apprentice Program initiatives. Experience a diverse role that includes classroom instruction, hands-on training, and clinic-based coaching.
What You Will Do:
Clinical Education and Classroom Instruction . Facilitates instructor-led and hands-on training programs using evidence-based practices and adult learning principles. . Contributes to the development, revision, and implementation of training curriculum, lesson plans, competency assessments, educational materials, and learning resources. . Utilizes a variety of instructional methods to promote learner engagement, knowledge retention, and skill development. . Maintains a positive, professional, and inclusive learning environment that promotes participation, accountability, and successful learning outcomes. . Demonstrates effective classroom management, communication, and time management skills. . Supports educational initiatives including onboarding programs, Lunch and Learns, clinical updates, and workforce development activities. 40% Competency Evaluation and Skills Validation . Demonstrates and instructs clinical procedures, workflows, and skills in accordance with organizational standards and evidence-based practice. . Conducts initial, ongoing, and remediation competency assessments for clinical support staff. . Evaluates employee knowledge, technical skills, clinical judgment, and procedural competency through observation and performance-based assessments. . Provides timely verbal, written, and real-time performance feedback to reinforce clinical competencies, workflows, best practices, strengths, and opportunities for development. . Supports MA Apprentice Program skills checks and competency validation in collaboration with program leadership. . Ensures competency evaluations comply with THPG standards, regulatory requirements, and departmental expectations. 30% Field-Based Coaching and Clinic Support . Travels to THPG clinic locations to conduct clinical observations, onboarding support, competency assessments, and educational interventions. . Observes preceptors and collaborates with Practice Managers, Clinical Leads, and operational leaders to identify educational opportunities and develop targeted coaching plans. . Serves as a clinical resource for staff and leaders regarding clinical procedures, workflows, and best practices. 10% Collaboration, Program Support, and Continuous Improvement . Partners with employees, Practice Managers, Clinical Leaders, Human Resources, the MA Apprentice Program team, and organizational leadership to support clinical education priorities and workforce readiness. . Provides recommendations for curriculum improvements, educational resources, and competency development processes. . Assists with organizational initiatives that support employee engagement, professional development, clinical excellence, and practice standardization. . Supports departmental goals, special projects, and strategic initiatives as assigned. 10% Documentation, Tracking, and Compliance . Documents employee performance, competency assessment results, coaching activities, and educational interventions in designated systems. . Tracks completion of required competencies and assigned learning plans. . Provides timely communication and follow-up regarding employee competency status and educational outcomes. . Maintains knowledge of organizational policies, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and evidence-based practices relevant to clinical education and competency development. 5% Additional Responsibilities . Works collaboratively with leadership to evaluate and improve training, competency, and workforce development programs. . Maintains professional knowledge through ongoing education and participation in professional development activities. . Performs other duties as assigned to support organizational and departmental objectives. 5%
What You Need :
Education H.S. Diploma or Equivalent 4 Years Additional relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree Req Or Bachelor's Degree Req Experience 2 Years Recent experience in an ambulatory clinic setting as a CMA or LVN (with Bachelor's Degree) Req or 6 Years Recent experience in an ambulatory clinic setting as a CMA or LVN (without Bachelor's Degree Req and 1 Year Training or teaching using adult learning principles Pref Licenses and Certifications LVN
Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire Req Or MA
Medical Assistant Certified
Acquired through an accredited program Upon Hire Req And Other CPR Certification Upon Hire Req Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Ability to use instructional technology, audiovisual equipment, training equipment, and a variety of teaching methods to support classroom, skills-lab, virtual, and clinic-based learning. . Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking, facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills. . Applies adult learning principles, evidence-based practice, and instructional best practices to develop and deliver effective clinical education. . Demonstrates the ability to assess clinical skills, provide constructive feedback, support remediation, and promote learner confidence and competency. . Builds collaborative relationships with employees, Practice Managers, clinical leaders, providers, Human Resources, MA Apprentice Program leadership, and THPG leadership. . Works effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, competing deadlines, and evolving organizational needs. . Self-motivated and able to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team. . Strong attention to detail, accuracy, follow-through, and timely documentation. .
