Youth Girls Basketball Coach International School of Texas - 3.9 Bee Cave, TX Job Details Part-time $50 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications CPR Certification High school diploma or GED First aid and CPR Full Job Description Qualifications High School or equivalent Current CPR certification and First Aid training Former basketball player or coach, knowledge or interest in basketball Experience coaching, teaching, or working with kids age 9-12 Responsibilities Coach for grades 4-6 girls basketball and availability for after school practices 2 times per week + games Supports and upholds the mission and values of the International School of Texas Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters Models professional conduct and sportsmanship while instilling these characteristics within team members Schedules practices in consultation with the Athletic Director Monitors physical condition and fitness of participants and reports injuries to parents and school officials Continually monitors and supervises all activities of the participants at all practices and games Teaches essential safety skills and strategies to student-athletes; monitors safety compliance Follows school policies regarding safety guidelines Communicates with Athletic Director regarding need for early dismissals, field, and gym use Ensures that emergency contact information is available at practices Demonstrates professionalism in conduct, demeanor, and work habits Able to instruct athletes about proper strategy, skills, and rules Able to motivate student-athletes to perform optimally as an individual athlete and team member Uses approved, corrective, and positive discipline procedures in dealing with inappropriate student conduct Required to lift or carry athletic equipment and supplies Required to maintain composure
