Gymnastics & Cheer Coach Tumble House Academy - Gladewater, TXPart-Time | Monday-Wednesday Evenings Tumble House Academy is looking for an experienced, energetic, and highly motivated Gymnastics & Cheer Coach to join our growing team! We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with athletes and can create a positive, encouraging, and engaging environment for students of all skill levels. Our ideal coach is confident working with everyone from beginners learning foundational skills to advanced athletes developing higher-level tumbling and cheer skills. We are also preparing to expand our cheer program into competitive cheer. We are looking for a coach with competition cheer coaching experience who can help us develop and grow this program as we move toward forming competitive teams. Responsibilities Coach gymnastics, tumbling, and cheer classes for beginner through advanced students Provide safe, hands-on instruction and appropriate spotting Teach proper technique, progressions, strength, flexibility, and skill development Create fun, structured, and engaging classes Adapt instruction to each athlete's individual ability and learning pace Encourage students while providing constructive corrections and feedback Assist with the development and future growth of our competitive cheer program Help teach and develop competition cheer skills, including stunting, jumps, tumbling, motions, and routine technique Maintain a positive and welcoming environment for athletes and parents Help students set goals and build confidence as they progress Follow all Tumble House Academy safety procedures and coaching standards Be open to offering private lessons outside of regularly scheduled classes Qualifications Minimum 5 years of gymnastics, tumbling, cheer, or related coaching experience Competition cheer coaching experience required Experience coaching beginner through advanced skill levels Knowledge and experience with competitive cheer, including stunting, tumbling, jumps, motions, and routine development Strong knowledge of proper tumbling and gymnastics technique, progressions, and spotting Comfortable working with children of different ages and abilities Dependable, energetic, patient, and highly motivated Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to keep students engaged while maintaining a structured class environment Must be available to work after 4:00 PM Monday through Wednesday Must be open to taking on private lesson opportunities Opportunity to Grow With Us Tumble House Academy is continuing to grow, and we are excited about expanding into competitive cheer.
