Job Description
Garden Oaks Volleyball Club is a girls club located in the Oak Forest/Garden Oaks neighborhood of Houston, TX. GO VC is designed as education and training middle school and junior high school female athletes. The mission of GO VC is to train through skill development and competition, in a constructive and supportive atmosphere. We are looking to grow our staff by adding qualified coaches whom are passionate about teaching volleyball The season will start in November or December and end in June. Team sizes will range from 10-12 girls. They will practice twice per week and compete in a local tournament once every three weeks.
Essential Duties:
- Inspire, motivate, encourage and develop each student-athlete while teaching appropriate techniques, rules and strategies of volleyball
- Serve as positive role model for players
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with players, parents and staff
- Organize and schedule practice sessions
- Attend all games and practices
- Assume responsibility for inventory, selection and care of equipment
Job Types:
