If you love working with kids and want afternoon work that actually goes somewhere, this is it. Avanti Athletics is hiring passionate coaches and mentors to run after-school soccer and basketball programs for elementary-age kids across Montgomery County, MD, and Prince William County, VA. We currently run programs at 25+ schools , which means there is very likely a site near you! For the past 12 years, we've helped hundreds of students grow stronger, more confident, and more disciplined through sports and character development—and we want you to help us shape the next generation.
Compensation & Perks Excellent Pay:
$55 per session starting
Paid Prep Time:
Coaches are paid for 1.5 hours of time for every 1-hour practice to ensure you are fully compensated for your preparation.
Paid Training:
All coaches are paid per session during the initial training period.

With 25+ local school partnerships, we can place you at a site close to home or work. Working days are flexible. Requirements & Qualifications Availability:
Must be available between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM for 1.5 hours, at least three days per week .
Experience:
Prior coaching or experience working with elementary-age children is highly preferred, but not strictly required.
Transportation:
Must have a reliable vehicle or dependable method of transportation to commute to local school sites.
Screening:
Upon hire, selected candidates must pass a standard background check and complete our training program. A Day in the Life (Sample Schedule) 3:05
PM:
Arrive at the school, check-in, and set up equipment. 3:20
PM:
Students arrive and get ready. 3:30
PM:
Run your engaging, high-energy session! 4:30
PM:
