The coach will play an important role in developing student-athletes by promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, skill development, and a positive athletic experience that aligns with the values of the Wilmot athletic program. Stats.), national origin, ancestry, arrest record, conviction record, use or non-use of lawful products off the District's premises during non-working hours, declining to attend an employer-sponsored meeting or to participate in any communication with the employer about religious matters or political matters, or any other characteristic protected by law in its employment practices.(Policy 1422, 3122 & 4122, Policy 3123 & 4123) Qualifications Qualifications Previous coaching and/or playing experience in volleyball preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to positively motivate and mentor high school student-athletes Commitment to sportsmanship, teamwork, and student growth Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, staff, students, and families CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain Must meet all WIAA and district coaching requirements Essential Responsibilities Plan and conduct practices focused on skill development, conditioning, teamwork, and game strategy Supervise student-athletes during practices, matches, travel, and team activities Promote positive sportsmanship and appropriate conduct among players Support the overall goals and expectations of the girls volleyball program Communicate effectively with athletes, families, and school staff Assist with program organization, equipment management, and team logistics Encourage academic success and personal growth among student-athletes Maintain compliance with all district, conference, and WIAA policies and procedures Candidate Requirements Additional Requirements Resume Letters of Recommendation
