Assistant Professor of Sport Administration-Tenure Track Simpson College Location:

Aug 31, 2026 Description Teach six courses per year, consistent with departmental need and candidate's training and interests. Courses may include sport sales, sport finance, sport facility and event management, sport marketing, and sport business courses applicable within the general education curriculum. Contribute to student success and recruitment, engage in the general education program, advise students and student clubs, and incorporate experiential learning into coursework. Help the department explore graduate opportunities in the field. Qualifications Terminal degree in sport management or a related field. PhD or EdD required (ABD considered). Evidence of successful, innovative college-level teaching experience with the ability to utilize classroom technology. Demonstrate on-going commitment to each individual student's needs for success. Demonstrate the ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with colleagues to facilitate student experiential learning, research, and internship opportunities. Willingness to participate in department activities, service to the college, and ability to work with faculty, staff, and students in a collegial and cooperative manner.
