Circuits I Lab Adjunct Instructor, Engineering Mechanicsburg, PA, United States Employed on a per-load-unit basis for a given semester or term. Sole contracted responsibilities are those activities required in the delivery of a course (e.g., mentoring/coaching, preparation, teaching, grading, office hours). In some instances, there may be some contracted responsibilities for advising, course development or meeting other departmental needs. Messiah University's Engineering Department offers ABET accredited Bachelor of Science degrees in Biomedical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Robotics Engineering. Furthermore, an ABET accredited Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree with concentrations in Biomedical, Computer, Environmental, and General Engineering is available to students. Our thirteen faculty and three full-time technicians are highly qualified in their fields, with full-time faculty holding PhDs in engineering, from Penn State, Texas A&M, U-Illinois, U-Kansas, U-Michigan, U-Virginia, U-Washington, Vanderbilt, and Villanova. Circuits I laboratory course. Create and maintain a course page in Canvas LMS structure; design and grade assessments of student learning; respond to students in a timely manner via weekly office hours and/or email. Courses typically meet face to face for 2.5-hours/week for 15 weeks either in three 50-minute lectures (MWF) or two 75-minute lectures (TR). Laboratory courses typically meet for three hours once a week. Scheduling may be adjustable, but typically occurs between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Responsibilities specific to the class or lab taught will be communicated on an individual basis. Qualifications Advanced degree or significant experience in the area relevant for the course that will be taught. Candidates must evidence the potential for strong classroom teaching and positive student interaction and mentorship.
