Position Details Position Information Division Academic Affairs Department Math & Computer Science Working Title Computer Science / IT / Cybersecurity Adjuncts (2026-2027) Vacancy Type Part-Time Temporary Min T/E Requirements Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or Information Technology or a Master's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related field that includes a minimum of 18 hours of graduate work in Computer Science, or Information Technology. All degrees must come from regionally accredited institutions. Strong consideration will be afforded to candidates who exhibit a demonstrated record of professional experience and success in undergraduate teaching. For positions that may include online teaching, candidates are expected to demonstrate an ability to successfully structure and implement a distance-education-based course. FTE .5 Recruitment Range Commensurate with Education and Experience Anticipated Hiring Range Commensurate with Education and Experience Number of vacancies 8 Position # ADJA01 FLSA Status Exempt Months per year 9 Work Schedule =e.g. 8-500 20 hours/week, flexible schedule Work Schedule Type Monday - Friday Primary Purpose of Organization Unit Primary Purpose of Position Imparting Instruction Computer Science / Information Technology Job Description TThe Department of Mathematics and Computer Science invites applications for potential part-time or adjunct faculty openings in the following subject areas: Computer Programming Languages (Java) (on-campus), Data Structures, Digital Logic, Database Systems, Digital Forensics, Network Security, Web Security, and Game Design and Development. These positions are especially suited for candidates who hold a terminal degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or who have completed a minimum of 18 hours of approved graduate coursework in a relevant Computer Science or Information Technology field.
