Requirements / Qualifications
Only Completely filled Applications with a Current Resume and 3 Letters of Recommendation will be considered. Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 Letters, 1 from a current or former employer, 2 personal.) Other (A pre-requisite for employment is proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test or possession of an AA degree or higher.) Resume Comments and Other Information Upon interview selection, candidate requirements are as follows: Fingerprints, Verification of freedom of Tuberculosis, Verification of Covid-19 Vaccine, and I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification. A pre-requisite for employment as an Instructional Assistant is the proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test for the Napa Valley Unified School District. Exceptions to taking the test are: Possession of a current California Teaching Credential, possession of an AA degree or higher, at least 48 units, or passing the CBEST (California Basic Education Skills Test). If you do not meet any of these requirements or have not already taken the test you must do so prior to being employed.
