Join Our Mission to Strengthen Families Raising Shasta (Shasta County Child Abuse Prevention Coordinating Council) is hiring a Parent Coach to provide in-home, relationship-based case management and parent education to parents/caregivers in Shasta County. This position combines teaching parenting classes to small groups with providing one-on-one support for parents. Parent Coaches help families build parenting skills, work toward their goals, and connect with resources that support safe, stable homes. This position requires some evenings. Who We Are Looking For (Required) Experience in case management or social services Experience as a parent or caregiver of children Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Teaching skills to both small groups and one-on-one Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality Positive attitude and desire to help others Preferred Qualifications Lived experience navigating child welfare, family services, or similar systems Background in early childhood, child development, or family services Knowledge of Shasta County resources Associate's degree (or equivalent experience) Triple P Certification (highly desired) Why Work With Us We're building a supportive team culture!
