Job Description

Instructional Designer Creative Plastics - Health & Beauty Dalton, GA Creative Plastics, a designer and manufacturer of award winning, quality displays for a variety of markets, including retailers in the Health & Beauty sector is seeking a Instructional Designer . As an Instructional Designer, you will utilize design programs such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and SolidWorks to produce detailed assembly instruction sheets for displays and fixtures that are manufactured in our state-of-the-art production facilities utilizing the latest technologies.
Responsibilities:
Utilize Adobe InDesign and SolidWorks to develop assembly instruction sheets for displays and fixtures for the Health & Beauty category based on the direction/feedback of the Customer and Account Team. Create Instruction sheets within guidelines of client branded templates to illustrate the steps to achieving a finished assembly of display fixtures and shelves. Read engineering drawings and assemblies of fixtures to create clear and concise instructional guides. Provide feedback and develop unique solutions to solve instructional design or assembly challenges.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred. Preferable 1-2 years of experience as a design or mechanical engineer working on display and fixtures for retail. Intermediate proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop with an eye for design as well as strong mechanical aptitude. Preferable beginner level experience in Solidworks or similar CAD programs. Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others in a team environment. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
