Your canvas is vast, encompassing public events on campus, third-party rentals, and off-site ticketed gatherings. Your days are filled with providing exceptional customer service, responding promptly to calls, emails, and other forms of communication. You become the face of Project Chimps during events, ensuring every interaction echoes our values and mission.
The Architect of Experiences:
Your creativity shines as you establish standardized event procedures and a managed budget, training a dedicated team to flawlessly execute experiences that resonate with our visitors and guests. Beyond the

Your role extends beyond the limelight of events. You are the facilitator of the Event Committee, actively participating in the Curricula Writing Team, ensuring that every event aligns with our narrative and purpose. Collaboration as the
Key:
As the liaison between departments, you collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator for event support, harmonize with the Communications Department for marketing magic, and synchronize with the Facilities Department for seamless event setup and teardown. Education in
Every Interaction:
As a former children's educator, you will be the bridge between Project Chimps and educational institutions, working with children, teachers, and scout leaders to ensure that every event and program aligns with their needs.

Your Qualifications:
To excel as our Education & Event Coordinator, you bring a Bachelor's degree in education or a related field. You have a strong background in working with school-age children in instructional settings. Your experience in coordinating medium-sized events and your familiarity with event registration software marry well with your educational background to craft a perfect fit for Project Chimps. You have the ability to work independently, sometimes under strict deadlines, with internal and external partners in a fast-paced environment. You have strong organizational and time management skills and know how to prioritize effectively.
