Aug 26, 2026 Job Description Webster Public Schools is seeking qualified candidates for the anticipated position of Academic Instructional Coach at Webster Bartlett High School. Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • To promote and enhance student learning in all classrooms
  • To provide coaching to teachers on evidence based instructional strategies that engage all students
  • To provide coaching to teachers on implementing our high quality core Tier 1 curriculum
  • To assist teachers with effective and engaging lesson design
  • To utilize student achievement data to inform on-grade level instruction To work with outside consultants to develop effective coaching strategies
  • To provide professional development to teachers on researched-based instructional strategies that are aimed at closing achievement gaps
  • To effectively lead teachers in analyzing data
  • To model the use of data to drive instructional practices
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties may be assigned. Develops lesson plans and instructional material and provides individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student. Communicates regularly with parents by means of newsletters, notes, phone calls, conferences, etc. Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior to achieve an effective learning atmosphere. Identifies student needs and makes appropriate referrals and develops strategies for individual education plans working with the assistance of district specialists as appropriate. Is available to students and parents for education-related purposes. Plans and coordinates the work of ed. techs. and volunteers in the classroom and on field trips. Provides individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of the student. Creates an environment for learning through functional and attractive displays interest centers and exhibits of student's work. Assesses and evaluates the accomplishments of students' academic and social growth and keeps appropriate records and provides progress reports as requested.
