Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Warehouse Floor Trainer to lead the development and delivery of comprehensive training programs for our warehouse team. In this pivotal role, you will design engaging instructional content, facilitate hands-on learning experiences, and ensure all team members are equipped with the skills necessary to excel in their roles. Your expertise will foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence, empowering employees to reach their full potential on the warehouse floor. Responsibilities Develop and implement tailored training programs aligned with organizational goals, utilizing adult education principles and instructional design. Conduct onboarding sessions and employee orientation to familiarize new hires with warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and company policies. Work on the floor training new hires in the different roles to ensure consistent training and give our teammates the best chance of success Collaborate with talent management and human resources teams to identify skill gaps, develop succession plans, and support performance management initiatives through targeted training interventions. Manage project timelines for training program design, content development, and delivery while ensuring alignment with organizational change management strategies. Collect data on training effectiveness through employee evaluations and assessments; utilize insights to refine programs for maximum impact. Skills Extensive experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and adult education techniques. Proven ability to develop employee training programs in a human resources context with a focus on professional development and talent management. Ability to learn the different roles on the warehouse floor to be able to then train the new employees Excellent communication skills including public speaking, presentation delivery, and technical writing for instructional content. Skilled in conducting research and data collection to evaluate training outcomes; adept at using HR analytics tools for continuous improvement. Demonstrated leadership in team settings; capable of mentoring trainers and collaborating across departments to enhance learning initiatives. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in content development and program design.
