Two contract opportunities are now available for dedicated educators ready to bring their expertise and passion to an onsite role starting as soon as possible and extending through June 10, 2027. In this rewarding position, youll foster literacy skills among diverse learners and collaborate with teachers and administrators to ensure every student can read and thrive.

What you bring:

Active Pennsylvania (PA) teaching certification/licensure Reading Specialist certification required Proven track record with school-based roles, especially in urban environments Strong classroom management and behavioral leadership skills Experience differentiating instruction and using formative assessment Familiarity with state and district curriculum standards Reliable transportation for daily onsite responsibilities Ability to complete all PA clearances Comfortable and flexible working within the district and geographic area What you'll do: Deliver targeted reading instruction to students in K-8 settings, adapting lessons to diverse abilities and backgrounds Create, implement, and adjust lesson plans that align with state and district standards Collaborate with classroom teachers to assess literacy needs and track student progress Serve as a resource for best practices, interventions, and materials Contribute to a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment Participate in ongoing professional development and school meetings A Zoom interview will be part of the hiring process, allowing you to demonstrate your expertise and commitment to impactful instruction.
