For nearly two decades, we've been transforming playgrounds into a time of fun, learning, and growth with our Structured Recess, Physical Activity Workshops, and Leadership Programs. As a Recess Coach, you'll have the opportunity to teach essential life skills through engaging games and activities. This part-time position (25 hours per week) is perfect for those who love working with K-5 students and want to inspire the next generation to lead active, healthy lives. As a Recess Coach at HERO, you'll be bringing excitement, engagement, and structure to recess with the following responsibilities:
Organizing and Leading Games:
Plan and facilitate engaging playground activities for K-5th grade students, ensuring everyone has a great time.
Playground Setup:
Prepare the playground for workshops and recess, making sure all equipment is ready and game stations are set up.
Equipment Care:
Maintain and manage playground equipment to keep everything in good condition and accounted for.
Physical Activity Classes:
Lead dynamic physical activity classes for K-5th graders, promoting fitness, social-emotional learning, and fun.
Leadership Program Supervision:
Oversee and guide our leadership program at elementary school sites, helping students develop important life skills.
Requirements:
1. Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check & TB Test 2. We prefer if our candidates have some experience working with large groups of students.

Part-time Pay:
$20.00 per hour
