Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and passionate Cheer and Tumbling Instructor to inspire and train students in cheerleading, tumbling, and related acrobatic skills. In this role, you will create a positive, motivating environment that encourages growth, teamwork, and confidence. Your expertise will help students develop their physical abilities, learn new routines, and achieve their personal goals while ensuring safety and proper technique at all times. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on young athletes and sports enthusiasts alike. Responsibilities Lead cheerleading and tumbling classes, demonstrating techniques and routines with enthusiasm and clarity Develop customized training plans to meet the skill levels of diverse age groups and experience levels Ensure all participants follow safety guidelines, including proper use of mats, spotting techniques, and equipment Foster a fun, inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal achievement Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate milestones to motivate continued improvement Maintain a safe space by managing behavior and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, attendance, and safety protocols Skills Proven experience working with children in a coaching or teaching capacity Strong background in cheerleading, tumbling, gymnastics, or acrobatic sports Knowledge of sports-specific training instruction and team leadership skills Experience with martial arts such as karate or judo is a plus for teaching discipline and movement fundamentals Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination Familiarity with health club or gym environments is advantageous Skilled in behavior management to foster a positive learning environment Prior experience in sports coaching or physical education instruction is highly desirable Join us as a Cheer and Tumbling Instructor to ignite passion for movement in every student!
