Part-Time/Contract Job Summary:
Studio 815 is seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our growing program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching recreational and trending dance styles to students of all ages and skill levels. We are looking for an energetic, creative, and reliable instructor who can foster a positive and inclusive learning environment while helping students develop technique, confidence, and a love for dance.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach engaging and age-appropriate dance classes, including but not limited to jazz, hip-hop, ballet, and contemporary styles. Develop lesson plans that align with Studio 815's curriculum and goals. Foster a positive, encouraging, and disciplined class environment. Choreograph routines for performances, showcases, and recitals. Provide constructive feedback and individualized attention to help students grow. Maintain a professional and enthusiastic attitude while interacting with students, parents, and staff. Assist with studio events, performances, and community outreach initiatives. Ensure a safe and inclusive space for all students.
Qualifications:
Previous experience teaching dance to children and/or adults. Strong knowledge of various dance techniques and styles. Ability to choreograph and teach routines at various skill levels. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Positive, patient, and encouraging attitude. Availability to teach evening and/or weekend classes. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Compensation:
