SilverSneakers Instructor:

Create a positive class environment that is non-competitive and non-threatening. You will greet participants prior to class/track class attendance, and welcome and motivate all participants. Have a passion for working with the aging population and instruct modalities for the aging population Provide a welcoming environment and encourage members to attend Foreverwell programming Ensure a high level of customer service to enhance the member, guest, and program participant experience and satisfaction At least 18 years old Within 4 months of hire: Group Fitness Certification in a mode taught at the YMCA of the Northern Sky Benefits All employees receive a free YMCA membership! Part-time employees begin accruing Sick Leave immediately upon hire and Paid Time Off (PTO) after one year of employment 12% Retirement Plan - The YMCA will automatically contribute an additional 12% of the eligible employee's monthly income into their YMCA Retirement Plan when the following requirements are met: The employee has been employed with the YMCA for 2 years The employee has worked 1,000 hours during each of any two 12-month periods The employee is 21 years of age or older

Shifts Needed:

We are seeking a dependable group fitness instructor who is available to teach regularly at both the Schlossman YMCA and Fercho YMCA .

Available class times:

Schlossman YMCA:

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 10:15AM - 11:00

AM Fercho YMCA:

Fridays from 10:15-11:00 AM Instructors may teach one or multiple classes based on availability. Who are we?
