Job Description

Theatre Instructor - Summer Production Camp Aspire Visual and Performing Arts Academy is seeking passionate and professional Theatre Instructors to help our talented 5th-7th grade scholars bring "The Wiz Jr." to life in a full-stage production at the end of our exciting Summer Camp season! If you are creative, energetic, and love inspiring youth through the performing arts, we would love for you to join our amazing team of artists and educators this summer. This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact while working in a fun, collaborative, and uplifting environment.

Compensation:
$1,000 stipend for the 4-week camp program What You'll Do Help direct and rehearse scenes, songs, and performances for The Wiz Jr. Coach scholars in acting, stage presence, confidence, and performance techniques Create engaging and supportive theatre activities and rehearsals Collaborate with fellow performing arts instructors and staff Inspire creativity, teamwork, and self-expression in youth Support scholars in preparing for a successful final production performance Qualifications Theatre Credential (Preferred) 1-2 years or more teaching or coaching experience in performing arts (Required) High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
