Job Description

Part-Time Musical Theatre Teacher Drama Kids is hiring part-time musical theatre teachers to lead our showcase program for kids ages 5-12 in schools and community locations throughout Apollo Beach, Valrico, Brandon, Lutz, Wesley Chapel, and New Tampa. The Role Lead engaging musical theatre classes (2-3 hours/week, Monday-Thursday, 2:00-5:00 PM) Your assigned classes will remain consistent throughout the school year Teach Drama Kids curriculum and musical theatre songs and dances tailored to age groups Guide kids through choreography, theater games, and creative drama activities Help students prepare for an end-of-year showcase Use theatre to build life skills in children. Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment What We're Looking For Comfortable teaching kids musical theatre, songs, and dances Enthusiastic, energetic, dependable, and positive Able to manage a group of children with confidence Genuinely enjoy working with kids Able to commit to the full school year (September-May) 18 years or older Reliable transportation to assigned classes Willing to learn and grow with our team While we prefer musical theatre, dance, singing, or teaching experience, it is not required. We provide comprehensive training and a proven curriculum, as well as a teacher mentor.
