Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Aerialist Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerial hoops and silks and have experience working with children and/or adults, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching aerial arts in a structured environment, developing lesson plans, and managing classroom dynamics to ensure that students thrive both artistically and personally. Responsibilities Teach classes in lyra and silks, catering to different age groups and skill levels. Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with curriculum goals. Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive, respectful learning environment. Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their skills and confidence. Organize performances and recitals to showcase students' progress and achievements. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to create an enriching program for all students. Engage with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Utilize behavior management techniques to support students' emotional and social development. Experience Previous experience as an Instructor or in a similar role is preferred. Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings is essential. Skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management are highly valued. Background in aerial arts is required and any performing arts or theater is a plus, as it can enhance the creative aspects of instruction.
