Duties Develop comprehensive lesson plans that incorporate hip hop dance techniques, choreography, and musical elements tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels Lead energetic and engaging hip hop dance classes, ensuring students stay motivated and actively participate Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment Incorporate arts-related activities such as photography, sewing, or performance art to enhance the overall creative experience Provide constructive feedback to students on their dance movements, musicality, and performance skills Collaborate with other instructors to design interdisciplinary arts programs that include theater, music, and visual arts components Maintain organized records of attendance, progress reports, and curriculum updates to track student development Skills Extensive experience in choreography, dance instruction, and hip hop performance techniques Strong background in curriculum development for arts education programs Proven classroom management skills with the ability to work effectively with children and youth Knowledge of teaching visual & performing arts along with experience working with children or young adults in educational settings Ability to plan lessons that incorporate music performance, theater elements, and creative arts projects Familiarity with working with students of varying ages, including early childhood or preschool environments Excellent communication skills for engaging students and collaborating with team members Experience in special education or behavior management strategies is a plus Skills in photography, sewing or culinary arts can be an added benefit for interdisciplinary projects Passion for fostering creativity through arts instruction such as teaching instrumental performance or theatrical techniques Join us as a Leopard Legends Hip Hop Coach where your energy fuels young artists' passions!
