In-person (SD Area) About Kicks To Learn Kicks To Learn is a youth enrichment program dedicated to teaching children lifelong skills through sports, teamwork, and positive character development. We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated Youth Coaches who are passionate about working with children and making a meaningful impact. Position Overview Youth Coaches lead engaging soccer-based enrichment sessions at elementary school sites throughout Orange County communities. Classes are held during the school day and last 1-2 hours per site . This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who enjoy teaching, coaching, and inspiring young learners in a fun, structured environment. We provide paid training, curriculum, and all coaching equipment . Schedule & Availability Available minimum 3 days per week Must be available between 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 2:00-4:00 PM Commitment required through the school year Sessions are 2-3 hours per day Key Responsibilities Provide instruction and guidance in a safe, positive learning environment Ensure adherence to CPR and First Aid safety protocols Foster teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship among participants Build positive relationships with children and school staff Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback Required Qualifications Passion for working with children ages 4-12 Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Ability to pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check TB test clearance High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Experience playing sports Experience working with children Previous coaching, teaching, or education experience CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) College coursework in Early Childhood Education ( 12 ECE units preferred ) Minimum 1 year of relevant experience Compensation $20.00 per hour Training, curriculum, and equipment provided
