We provide behind-the-wheel driving lessons for teens, adults, seniors, nervous drivers, students with disabilities, and individuals preparing for the DMV driving test. We proudly serve Hesperia and the surrounding High Desert communities. Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, patient, and dependable Driving Instructor to help students become safe and confident drivers. Instructors provide one-on-one behind-the-wheel instruction using company vehicles while following California DMV regulations and 1 Driving School training standards. Responsibilities Conduct behind-the-wheel driving lessons. Pick up and drop off students at their home, school, or workplace. Teach defensive driving techniques and California traffic laws. Help students prepare for the California DMV driving test. Complete lesson notes and required paperwork. Maintain a professional, positive, and encouraging learning environment. Keep company vehicles clean and report maintenance concerns. Follow all company safety policies. Qualifications Valid California Driver License with a clean driving record. Must be at least 21 years old. High school diploma or GED. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Calm, patient, dependable, and professional. Ability to work independently. Ability to pass a background check and meet California DMV employment requirements. No prior driving instructor experience is required—we provide paid training for qualified candidates. Preferred Experience Teaching, coaching, or training others. Customer service experience. Experience working with teens, adults, seniors, or individuals with disabilities.
