We provide adaptive gymnastics and movement programs for individuals of all ages and abilities, including those with developmental, intellectual, physical, and sensory disabilities. We're looking for someone who genuinely wants to work in the adaptive field, loves working directly with athletes, and wants to learn and grow. This is a hands-on position. Our instructors are actively coaching, spotting, encouraging, communicating, and adapting throughout every class.

What We're Looking For:

Outgoing, upbeat, patient, and passionate about working with individuals with disabilities Pursuing or interested in a career in Occupational Therapy (OT/OTA), Physical Therapy (PT/PTA), Speech Language Pathology (SLP/SLPA), Applied Behavior Analysis (BCBA/BCaBA/RBT), Adapted Physical Education (APE), or Special Education Comfortable being hands-on, active, and engaged throughout class Strong communication skills with athletes, parents, caregivers, and team members Takes initiative, is dependable, coachable, and open to feedback Willing to learn how to support athletes with different abilities, sensory needs, communication styles, and levels of independence Background in gymnastics, tumbling, cheer, dance, sports, special education, ABA, or adaptive movement is preferred but not required Reliable transportation Willing to learn. Training is provided!

Job Responsibilities:

Lead adaptive gymnastics classes for individuals with a variety of developmental disabilities and their parents/caregivers Adapt activities, equipment, instruction, and communication based on each athlete's needs Teach gymnastics and movement skills focusing on strength, balance, coordination, confidence, and independence Provide hands-on instruction, demonstrations, assistance, and spotting as appropriate Create a safe, positive, structured, and engaging class environment Learn and use adaptive teaching, sensory, communication, and behavior support strategies Communicate with parents and caregivers about athlete participation and progress Collaborate with instructors and program staff to support athlete development Help set up, organize, and clean equipment before and after classes Participate in training and continued learning Opportunity to train in and teach our Sensory Connections program
