What You'll Be Doing As a One-Year-Old Classroom Teacher, you will: Provide loving, attentive care while meeting each child's physical, emotional, and educational needs Implement our curriculum and create meaningful learning experiences Use reading, talking, writing, music, games, crafts, and hands-on activities to encourage children's development Observe children's interests, behaviors, and development and respond with appropriate teaching strategies Build positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about their child's development Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom Follow classroom and school policies and procedures Ensure children's safety at all times Respond calmly and responsibly to emergencies when needed Participate in professional development and training Continue learning and growing as an early childhood professional We're Looking For Someone Who... Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience working with 1-2-year-old children Child Development Associate (CDA) CPR & First Aid certification DCF 45-Hour Childcare Training Knowledge of Florida childcare policies, guidelines, and regulations Completed Level II background screening and required fingerprinting Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required for childcare and emergency situations Commitment to completing the required 10 hours of annual Continuing Education/In-Service training Valid driver's license Bonus points if you have: Experience implementing the Reggio Emilia Approach English/Spanish bilingual skills What We Offer Monday-Friday | Full-Time | In Person And yes... weekends are OFF!
