•$20.00 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Driver's License (Massachusetts) Classroom Teaching Full Job Description Driving Instructor / Classroom Instructor Job Summary South Shore Driving Academy is seeking dependable, enthusiastic instructors who enjoy working with teenagers and want to help young drivers become safe, confident, and responsible behind the wheel. Our primary students are high-school-aged teens who have obtained their Massachusetts learner's permit and are completing their required Driver Education program. We are hiring for two instructional roles for our Weymouth and Hanson locations, which may be filled separately or combined depending on the applicant's qualifications and interests: Behind-the-Wheel Driving Instructor
•Provides individual, in-car driving instruction to permitted students. Hours can be flexible. Applicants may apply for driving instruction, classroom instruction, or both. Behind-the-Wheel Driving Instructor Duties Provide professional behind-the-wheel instruction to high-school-aged students with valid learner's permits. Teach safe vehicle operation, observation techniques, intersections, lane changes, parking, backing, three-point turns, highway driving, and other essential driving skills. Help students develop confidence while reinforcing safe and responsible driving habits. Adapt instruction to each student's individual skill level and learning pace. Evaluate student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Complete required lesson records and student progress documentation. Maintain a calm, patient, professional learning environment at all times. Follow all South Shore Driving Academy policies and Massachusetts RMV requirements. Classroom Instructor
•Teaches the required Driver Education weekend classroom curriculum.

$18.50
