Drivers - Content Specialist II or III (based on qualifications) Help keep Garrett County moving! Garrett Transit Service (GTS), a department of Garrett County Community Action Committee, Inc. (GCCAC), is seeking dependable, safety-conscious drivers to join our team. We have full-time, part-time, and substitute positions available for individuals who enjoy helping others and providing safe, reliable transportation to our community. Position Requirements Minimum of five years of general driving experience Excellent driving record Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination Willingness to complete Basic First Aid and CPR training Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test Must be able to comply with random drug testing requirements for this safety-sensitive position Current driving record required CDL holders are encouraged to apply! A Class C or higher Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements is preferred but not required. Pay & Benefits Hourly pay: $15.95-$22.18 , based on qualifications and experience. All employees regularly scheduled for at least 500 hours per year will participate with the Maryland State Retirement Pension plan. Annual Leave will accrue at 12 days per year for the first year. There are 15 paid holidays per year and 18 paid sick days. Part-time employees will accrue these benefits on a prorated basis.
