We're hiring! Join the Sandventure Bus team! Sandventure Bus is a brand new sand based play bus coming to RVA, focusing on sensory & fine motor development! We will partner with schools, daycares, local businesses and communities to engage children in learning through play. We are looking for energetic, positive, and responsible coaches that love to work with children, and can make learning fun!

Job Type:

Part-Time in 4-8 hr increments. 20 hrs max per week. Weekend hours required. Needs daytime availability Mon-Friday and Weekend availability for birthday parties.

Salary :

$16-$20/hr based on qualification level Sandventure Coaches will be responsible for: Safely operating the Sandventure Bus to and from various community events, birthday parties, and venues (schools, etc.) Driving training will be provided. No CDL required. Communicate with vendors/parents professionally. Greeting children and families with enthusiasm, as well as providing requested information about our services. Facilitating interactive sand/sensory play sessions while encouraging a calm and positive play experience for children ages 2-7 Enforcing safety guidelines during play, as well as ongoing monitoring for any hazards. Following proper cleaning and sanitation protocol before and after each session. Staff will also ensure that the supplies are reorganized and ready for use before each group rotation. Maintaining a professional and neat appearance.

Qualifications:

A Valid Virginia Driver's License and clean driving record with no accidents in the last 7 years First Aid/CPR certification Punctual & Dependable Must have car/transport to be able to come to our Glen Allen location Patient & energetic Prior experience working with children. Experience in teaching, early childhood development is a plus Prior experiencing driving large vehicles such as camp or school buses is a plus Ability to move, stand for 30 min sections of time, bend and lift up to 50 lbs. Must pass criminal background check

Pay:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
