JOB TYPE

JOB SUMMARY
At a rank to be determined, the adjunct faculty member will teach Economics courses in the Business program at Boyce College of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and participate as needed in other activities in support of the mission of Boyce College.
JOB FUNCTIONS
The faculty member in this position will have the following essential job functions: Teach residential face-to-face Business classes in the subject of Economics. Teach consistent with and not contrary to the Abstract of Principles and the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message Work closely with the Program Coordinator of the Boyce Business Program to ensure course outcomes are met Review assessments of the Business classes and recommend changes and modifications to the Program Coordinator Participate in ongoing instructional and student assessment efforts, as needed Be generally available to meet with and mentor students in the scheduled class as needed Participate in adjunct trainings as required by Boyce College and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should possess the following qualifications: A master's degree in Economics Testimony of personal faith in Jesus Christ and evidence of a mature Christian lifestyle Professional experience in the field (preferred but not required) Full agreement with the Abstract of Principles ( http://www.sbts.edu/about/truth/abstract/ ) and the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message ( http://www.sbts.edu/about/truth/bfm/ ) Support for the mission and vision of Boyce College
