ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL MUNIS CODE
1020 ELECTION The Board of Education may upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools appoint an Assistant Principal at the school level. The compensation will be fixed by the Board of Education with the recommendation of the Superintendent. The Assistant Principal shall be a 200 day employee at the elementary and alternative level and a 240 day employee at the secondary level. The Assistant Principal shall be directly responsible to the Principal.
QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements for this position will be designated by the State Department of Education.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Shall administer punishment and offer solutions for student problems as needed. Shall handle bus problems and administer punishment when needed. Shall assist the Pupil Personnel office in the solution of attendance problems. Shall attend major school functions where large numbers of students are in attendance and assist in super
