Job Description

Make a real impact supporting middle school students in a dynamic and inclusive educational environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Paraprofessional fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) who thrives in a school setting and is passionate about student success. Youll play an essential role assisting students, fostering communication, and helping create an accessible learning experience for everyone. In this position, you will: Work full-time through June 4, 2027, supporting middle school learners using ASL Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to deliver individualized assistance in the classroom Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers, ensuring all students have access to information and learning Assist with academic, behavioral, and social needs, adapting your approach as needed for student success Maintain confidentiality and follow all school policies and best practices Participate in meetings, training, and professional development as required
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; must provide high school or college transcripts upon hire Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is required Demonstrated fluency in American Sign Languagethis is essential and non-negotiable Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Resourceful, flexible, and committed to fostering an inclusive atmosphere What youll gain: Embrace the chance to make a difference each day, gaining hands-on experience in a meaningful educational environment.
