Job Description

Location:
Mora Elementary School Part Time
  • 6:15 am
  • 8:15 am & 2:45 pm
  • 5:45 pm
Duty Days :
Follows the school calendar
Qualifications:
Provide development, coordination, and facilitation of school-age care programming for children from Kindergarten through Grade 6. Three to five years of experience working in a childcare setting is preferred. Experience managing a childcare program is desired. Certification in CPR/First Aid or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire is preferred.
Education:
A high school degree or equivalent training or coursework in child development or education (minimum 24 credits) is preferred. A degree in education or child development is desired. Basic computer skills are preferred . Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Salary & Benefits:
$19.21

September 1st 2026 For more information contact Charles Whitbred at (320) 679-6200 x. 5024 or cwhitbred@moraschools.org Responsibilities Summary Program Planning & Student Supervision Plan daily crafts, games, outdoor play, free time, and homework support Supervise students to ensure safety and positive peer interaction Enforce rules and expectations; manage behavior and complete discipline reports as needed Ensure staff are actively supervising and engaging students Parent Communication & Student Release Greet parents at drop-off and pick-up Verify authorized pick-up using ID and approved list Communicate behavior concerns to parents, Community Ed Director, and administrators when necessary Operations & Organization Purchase and maintain supplies, equipment, snacks, and materials Keep spaces clean and organized daily Prepare name tags, attendance sheets, timecards, and project materials Attendance & Registration Management Track daily attendance, staff schedules, and authorized pick-up lists Monitor after-school plan changes Coordinate with office staff and parents regarding attendance discrepancies Health & Safety Maintain awareness of all student health concerns and allergies Provide first response for minor injuries and complete accident reports Communicate with nurse and office staff as needed
