SALARY:
Competitive per Rush-Henrietta Administrators' Contract, based on experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must possess (or be eligible for) New York state SAS/SBL. Successful secondary teaching experience (or equivalent) is required. Rush-Henrietta is seeking dynamic, dedicated, diverse applicant to join the Burger Junior High School leadership team as a full-time (12-month) tenure-track assistant principal. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of secondary instruction, adolescent development, and supervision practices that lead to teacher growth and student achievement. Collaborative leadership and effective communication, initiative and follow-through are essential, including the ability to manage school operations. Candidates must be able to collaborate with students and families in a culturally responsive manner, and to work for the success of all students. All new administrators in Rush-Henrietta are provided with comprehensive induction, mentoring, and leadership career development.
