QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in any field or Child Development Associate's Degree. Must pass background check, drug test and pre-employment physical. Experience with children and/or management preferred.
AVAILABILITY
MUST
BE AVAILABLE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
from 6:30-8:30 AM and 3:00-6:00 PM during the Kent City School's school year through 5/28/27. Summer employment available but not required. No nights and weekends!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing up to 4 staff and supervising up to 36 Kindergarten-6th graders in a before and after school setting located at Davey Elementary School or the City of Kent's Recreation Center. Following and maintaining Dept. of Children & Youth state childcare licensing regulations for the program, interacting with parents and school faculty, attending staff meetings and child development trainings, adapting to behavioral and educational needs of children, applying conflict management within children, completing lesson plans, maintaining children's safety, etc. Professionalism, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task is a must!
RATE OF PAY
$14.50-$17.00/hr (based on education and experience)
