Job Description

Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the school and its programs Provide a roadmap for future operations and growth that includes adequate assessments of current situation and future trends that could possibly affect the chances of success in reaching the institutional goals. Supervises all school personnel Ensures adherence by all school personnel to policies and procedures of CIT With the help of the Compliance Officer assure full compliance with regulations and requirements and approvals with local, state and federal regulations (TWC, TVC, COE) Prepare and provide appropriate information for annual budget development process Participate in scheduled discussions with the Operations Director and the compliance officer regarding the management report, student population data, withdrawal data, new start data, account receivable data, financial data, student satisfaction and graduate Employment/Placement Survey Follow-up Follow appropriate procedures for effective recruitment, selection, training, developing and maintaining a productive workforce Responsible for planning, assigning and directing work; employee evaluations, rewarding and disciplining employees and addressing complaints and resolving problems Approving all employee Timesheets Establish regular staff meetings to ensure communication, feedback , and development maintenance of productive work processes Handle all complaints & grievances from the Staff/Faculty/Students In collaboration with the Director of Admissions to assure proper and productive admissions processes and supervision of admissions employees Monitors the School's financial Aid processes Review & Approve all bills Handle all Accident Reports Working with IT/Medical instructors to provide functional classrooms Responsible for maintenance of physical facilities and technical infrastructure and Evaluate the sufficiency of the school facility yearly Responsible for Campus Improvement Track sheet review and update Implements all recommendations put forth by the Occupational Advisory Board Members Ensures that the school program is compatible with the legal and organizational structure of the school system Ensures that instructional objectives for a given subject and/or classroom are developed, and involves the faculty and others in the development of specific curricular objectives to meet the needs of the school program Regularly evaluates course surveys Approves emergency expenses for repair and purchase of media equipment, instructional equipment, supplies and data server software resources Orients and assists new staff and provides opportunities for their input in the school program Approves transfer of credits for students Conducts the bi-annual graduation ceremonies Assist Compliance Officers with yearly evaluations of the institution's Health & Safety Plan with the staff and students Assist Compliance Officers with yearly evaluations of the Strategic plan with the staff Position requires ability to take over any required position in the institution Complete other assigned duties, as needed
