Little Scholars, a leading provider of enrichment programs, is looking for an energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic part-time elementary teacher to lead engaging enrichment classes for students in the Escondido Union School District in Escondido, CA. This is a short-term, part-time teaching opportunity taking place on Thursdays from 12:45 PM-4:30 PM, October 15-December 17 , paying $35/hour . Teachers will work with students in grades PK-5 and lead fun, hands-on activities using curriculum provided by Little Scholars. We provide the lesson plans, curriculum, materials, and supplies—you bring the energy and excitement to the classroom! Ideally, we are looking for teachers who can commit to the full program schedule. Schedule:

12:45 PM-4:30 PM Classes will be taught in three rotations: 12:45 PM-1:45 PM 2:30 PM-3:30 PM 3:30 PM-4:30 PM Teachers will be assigned to different class rotations throughout the afternoon. Exact teacher assignments and rotation schedules will be discussed during the interview and onboarding process. What You'll Do Teach engaging, hands-on enrichment classes for elementary-aged students using curriculum provided by Little Scholars Lead fun and interactive activities that encourage creativity, curiosity, and learning Create a positive, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment Supervise students and ensure their safety and well-being Follow provided lesson plans and curriculum Communicate professionally with the Little Scholars team Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled class rotations We're Looking For Someone Who Is Available and ideally able to commit to all scheduled sessions Friendly, positive, and enthusiastic Reliable, punctual, and dependable Passionate about working with children An effective communicator with strong classroom management skills Organized and able to follow lesson plans and provided curriculum Comfortable leading engaging activities for elementary-aged students Preferred Qualifications Associate degree preferred At least one year of teaching or experience working with children in a classroom, childcare, camp, or educational setting preferred Successful candidates will be required to complete all necessary background checks and screening requirements before teaching.
