Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and fully qualified Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. We have two classrooms with positions to fill. The infant classroom for children 12 months and younger, and our Toddler room for children2 and 3 years old. Our hours are 7:30- 5:30 so shifts will be within those hours. We are a brand new center with opportunity to grow! In this vital role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for infants and toddlers, fostering their development through innovative teaching methods and individualized care. Your expertise will support children's growth in areas such as social-emotional skills, literacy, motor development, and early cognitive abilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the foundational years of a child's life while working within a collaborative and dynamic team. You will work closely with the center directer and have a unique level of support with all needs and responsibilities! Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to infants and toddlers, incorporating best practices in early childhood education and child development instruction Provide attentive toddler care by monitoring health, safety, and emotional well-being throughout the day Manage classroom activities with effective classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and engagement Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns in a professional manner Incorporate early intervention techniques when necessary to support children with special needs or developmental delays Maintain accurate documentation of children's developmental progress, daily activities, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom setup, and implementing individualized learning plans for children requiring additional support Requirements Minimum 6 months experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool or daycare environments Minimum 12 core ECE Units and 3 Infant Toddler units Strong knowledge of child development principles, childhood development milestones, and behavior management techniques Proficiency in curriculum development focused on literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and overall child welfare Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and external specialists such as special education professionals Familiarity with classroom management strategies to foster a safe and inclusive learning environment Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare compliance Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in early intervention or special education are a plus Experience with standardized testing or assessments used in early childhood education settings is advantageous Join us as a Fully Qualified Infant/Toddler Teacher if you are dedicated to nurturing young minds through energetic teaching approaches that inspire growth.
