Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 18 months to 3 years old. Your expertise in Montessori methods will foster independence, curiosity, and a love of learning in young children. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate Montessori curriculum focused on toddler care, literacy education, and early childhood development principles. Create engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth through hands-on activities and child-centered learning. Manage classroom routines, behavior management strategies, and classroom organization to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or behavior. Maintain detailed documentation of each child's development, including progress reports aligned with standardized testing where applicable. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and uphold health and safety standards through first aid and CPR certification. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management techniques, and early intervention strategies to support diverse learning needs. Experience Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is required; experience specifically with toddlers is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development, special education needs, behavior management techniques, and early intervention practices. Proven classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior and engagement among young children. Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, or math to young learners is advantageous. Strong communication skills for effective parent communication and teamwork within an educational environment. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in early childhood education or Montessori training are a plus. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, classroom experience in private or public schools, and understanding of preschool teaching standards will support success in this role. Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
