Coachella Valley Unified School District is located is located about 30 miles east of Palm Springs off Highway 86. CVUSD strives to educate students and to assist them in realizing their full potential as responsible, productive, contributing members of society by providing an educational environment in which students are challenged, excellence is expected and differences are valued. CVUSD consists of 22 schools (14 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, 3 high schools, 1 continuation school, Adult Education) and has an average daily attendance of about 20,000 students.
