Hawley Elementary School 29 Church Hill Road Newtown, CT July 28, 2026

POSITION TITLE:

Grade 4 Classroom Teacher - ONE

YEAR ASSIGNMENT LOCATION

Hawley Elementary School

DURATION

: August 2026 to June 2027

SALARY RANGE:

See current teacher salary agreement

QUALIFICATIONS

Connecticut Certification. Strong background in elementary education and the teaching of language arts and mathematics. Proven leadership. Reflective learner who has high expectations for his/her performance and that of the students. Applied expertise in implementing an integrated language arts curriculum. Commitment to contributing to a community of learners. Ability to work with and actively involve parents in the educational process. Strong understanding of and expertise in using technology to enhance student achievement.
