Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment. Incorporate literacy education, math activities, physical education, and creative arts into daily lessons to support holistic development. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, behavior, and classroom activities through meetings and written updates. Conduct assessments to monitor each child's developmental milestones, including standardized testing where applicable. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to safeguard student well-being at all times. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, special education strategies, and early intervention programs to meet diverse student needs. Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, lesson plans, and classroom supplies. Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as preschool or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in preschool teaching. Experience with curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and physical education for young learners. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, behavior management techniques, and classroom management skills. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Ability to follow mandated reporting laws and uphold child welfare standards diligently. First aid certification including CPR is required or must be obtained upon hire. Demonstrated ability to plan lessons that incorporate child development instruction tailored to individual needs.
